conceitedness? I dont think so. Its marketing. If that "company" were selling sodas you would have had a big photo of a soda. Her "product," the thing that she sells, is her. We (ok not me, i am not much of a fan) buy her music, her CDs her concert tickets.
Not conceited at all. I am surprised at your age you missed the big picture. Just because you live in East TN does not mean you have to live up to the stereotype that we are all dumb, narrow minded uneducated hillbilly. Marketing is almost common knowledge. Right?
